Bidhaa Bandia Tanzania

So someone wakes up from a fake mattress, steps on fake slippers, walks on fake tiled floor to the fake knobbed door of ones bathroom. One showers with water purified using fake chlorine with a fake soap and dries oneself with a fake towel.

One switches on a fake television set to watch news gathered using a fake camera and then walks to the dining table to start breakfast with bread prepared from fake ingredients. When someone begins to feel a headache and walks to a nearby pharmacy and there one finds a fake pharmacist with a fake name and a fake certificate selling fake drugs.

Someone turns to look at herself in the mirror and develops a feeling that they probably may need some bodily repair. Someone ends up ordering some fake drugs which they are made to believe, can balloon up flattened bodily parts.

Fake is a deeper self-inflicted reality in this part of the world that very few of us are prepared to admit. We are prone to fakes because we love fakes, we enjoy fakes, we promote fakes, we perpetuate fakes and we protect fakes.

Isome story nzima hapa the Citizen
